The Sambo Championship of the Football Society ‘Dynamo’ of Ukraine among the teams of higher education institutions belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard of Ukraine and other central executive authorities, whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, was held in Lviv, in which the team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part.

In the individual competition, the cadets took the following places:
I place - Andrii Voitoshenko, Fariz Rashydov and Oleh Kobenda;
II place - Maxim Babych and Oleh Poperezhai;
III place - Ivan Semykhat;
V place - Vladyslav Shvets.

In the team competition, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs sambo team won first place among nine law enforcement agencies.

The cadets were trained for the competition by Yurii Osipian, the coach of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Sambo team and inspector of the sports team of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work.
