A sambo wrestling championship was held among cadets of higher education institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and higher military educational institutions of the State Border Service of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, in which 10 teams took part. Among the participants of the competition was the team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

In the individual competition, KhNUIA cadets won the following places:

1st place - Oleh KOBENDA in the weight category of 64 kg;

2nd place - Andrii VOITYSHENKO in the weight category of 98 kg;

3rd place - Maksym BABYCH in the weight category of 79 kg;

3rd place - Fariz RASHYDOV in the weight category of 88 kg;

3rd place - Oleh POPEREZHAI in the weight category of 71 kg;

3rd place – Mykhailo SELEZNIOV in the weight category 58 kg;

5th place – Ivan SEMYKHAT in the weight category +98 kg.

V місце – Іван СЕМИХАТ у ваговій категорії +98 кг.

In the team competition, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took 1st place.
