Cadets, master degree and postgraduate University students became the participants of the II-nd International scientific-practical conference "Cyber security in Ukraine: legal and organizational issues", which took place at the Department of Cyber security and Information Support.
The main directions of the conference included issues of legal regulations and administrative-legal support of cyber security in Ukraine, special aspects of use information systems and technologies in the fight against crime. The problematic issues of training personnel for the fight against cybercrime in Ukraine, as well as the scientific basis for the development of criminal analysis in the National Police of Ukraine are identified separately.
Thus, the head of the department, Ph.D., Associate Professor Karen Ismailov noted that for this the event experienced scientists were invited from educational and research institutions all over Ukraine, representatives of different scientific schools and research centers to comprehensive study the problem, and solving legal and organizational issues of Cyber security in Ukraine. It is emphasized that the main elements of the cyberspace protection system have been created in Ukraine: the relevant regulatory framework has been developed; the main functions and powers of the subjects of the Cyber security system have been defined, the existing ones have been reformed, and new subdivisions have been created to carry out activities in this area; work is underway to create new models of special technical devices for cyber defense.
According to the results of the conference, the main advantages and disadvantages of forming a system of analytical units and appropriate proposals for further development of units aimed at timely detection, investigation and prevention of crimes in the field of high technology.
