According to a long-standing tradition, a meeting was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with cadets and students who are orphans, deprived of parental care and those who lost their relatives in the ongoing war.

Rector Valerii Sokurenko congratulated the youth on the holiday: “The university administration, teachers, commanders help you become protected, strong and educated people. And you will be like that! The university is a home for you for a few years, but it will remain your family forever. I am convinced of this. The state does everything to study you, give you a good education, so that you feel confident in life, and I have no doubt that you are talented, strong and real.

Thank you for continuing the path of your parents, for protecting our future, rights, freedom of citizens, the integrity of Ukraine, and its sovereignty. May all wishes come true in the new year: that Ukraine wins, the terrible war ends, and the long-awaited peace comes. Happy holiday, my dear!

On behalf of the leadership of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, the cadets and students were congratulated by the deputy chief Andrii Kavunets. He called on the youth to study hard, master knowledge and skills, and become highly qualified specialists in their chosen profession. Andrii Kavunets emphasized that among the university's education seekers there are representatives from almost all regions of Ukraine, and the state authorities of Vinnytsia region help create proper working conditions and a high-quality educational process for the staff of the police academy. He wished the youth good health, happiness, well-being, and the fulfillment of their most cherished dreams, and together with the rector of the university, he presented the cadets and students with holiday gifts.

The warm atmosphere of the festive meeting was continued by the performance of the university's amateur art collective, which prepared vocal compositions.
