On October 16. OSUIA Cadets cadet and Master’s students of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation had an opportunity to talk to the judge of the Dniprovsky District Court of Dniprodzerzhynsk, Dnipropetrovsk region, Candidate of Law Yana Zamkova.

 

 

The judge thanked the Rector of the University Viacheslav Abroskin for the invitation and told the cadets about the work of the judicial system in Ukraine, the procedure of appointing judges, court structure, qualification assessment of judges, jury participation in justice, automatic distribution of cases within the court, etc.

 

 

During the meeting, the young police officers were interested in the issues of interaction of investigators with the participants of the trial, improving the efficiency of preparation of materials of criminal proceedings, the peculiarities of the trial on certain categories of cases.

 

 

At the end of the meeting, the judge wished the future investigators to be responsible in the investigation of criminal proceedings, competently and efficiently prepare documents, and noted that the quality knowledge they will receive at the university will help them become highly qualified specialists.
