On September 24th the cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for the Units of Preventive Activity met with the Deputy Head of the Department of Preventive Activities of the Headquarter of the National Police of Ukraine in Odessa region Vladislav Tkachenko, who noted the importance of combining theory and practice in the process of training police officers, outlined the main directions and tasks of the preventive activities of the state agencies and divisions of the Headquarter of the National Police of Ukraine, revealed the peculiarities of serving in the subdivisions of preventive activity.

The meeting was held with participation of the Dean of the Faculty Serhiy Medvedenko and Professor of the Department of Police Administration Viktor Lyubchyk, who noted that the practical component of training cadets is a priority in the activities of the faculty and motivated cadets to use university time to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities which are necessary for the high-quality performance of professional tasks faced by police officers during serving in preventive units.
