Recently, a meeting was held between the Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa region, Police General Third Rank Ivan Zhuk, and students of the Institute of Law and Security of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.

During the meeting, important current issues were discussed, relating to youth safety and the role of law enforcement agencies in modern society.

Ivan Zhuk emphasized the need to follow personal safety rules, be vigilant and attentive, and prevent the conscious or unconscious use of young people by agents of the aggressor country. The issue of countering fraudulent schemes, which are increasingly targeting young people, was also raised, and attention was focused on preventing teenagers from becoming involved in drug-related crime and substance abuse.

Separately, General Ivan Zhuk revealed the significance of the functioning of the National Police of Ukraine and its role in ensuring law and order and the safety of citizens.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions about employment prospects, the specifics of the work of various police departments, and the particularities of the service.

Ivan Zhuk provided comprehensive answers and shared his practical experience in professional activities.
