The Rector of OSUIA Vyacheslav Abroskin presented a report
On October 5, Odessa State University of Internal Affairs hold a meeting on epidemiological protection. The Rector of the University Vyacheslav Abroskin presented a report on the results of the 2019/2020 academic year and the job assignment for the next 2020/2021 academic year.
Vyacheslav Abroskin particular mentioned that one of the achievements of the last academic year was the registration of category "B" for scientific journals "South Ukrainian Law Journal" and "Legal Bulletin", as well as the launch of the Collection of scientific works of cadets and students.
Among the projects implemented in the 2019-2020 academic year should be mentioned:
- a new comfortable university lecture hall for 230 people, built on the educational material base of the Odessa center of primary professional training "Police Academy";
- a multifunctional tactical town for practicing the tactical actions of police officers;
- dual-purpose training ground "Child-friendly crisis room" and "Recognition outside of visual and audio surveillance";
- an interactive room for practicing the skills of police response to cases of domestic violence;
- opening of the updated exposition of the Museum of History of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs;
- creation of the Center for Good Deeds of the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs - a social project that brought together more than 500 cadets, students and ordinary citizens for a common goal - to help those who need it most;
- creation of a library on the educational and material base of the Odessa center of primary professional training "Police Academy".

In his speech, the Rector also outlined the main tasks for the 2020-2021 academic year and called for more cohesive teamwork in the direction of improving research and educational process at the university. He also thanked the team for their fruitful work, indifference and personal contribution to the development of the university.
“I assure you that I will continue to do everything possible for the developing the University, improve your well-being, improve working conditions and study. I want to see the same commitment from each of you", - said Vyacheslav Abroskin.
The participants solidly approved the Rector`s report on the results of the university in the 2019/2020 academic year.
