Adaptive training as a component of physical recovery of veterans
НАВС

A cycle of classes for military service veterans, organized by the Department of Special Physical Training, is underway at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. This time, the training was conducted by senior lecturer Mykhailo Inshekov.

The rehabilitation classes were attended by war veteran, combat participant, veteran support specialist, deputy of the NGO "Brotherhood of Defenders of Podillia" Viktor Tiupa, who has been fighting in Kharkiv and Sumy directions since February 2022.

The training was conducted with a combination of elements of athletic gymnastics, crossfit and general strengthening exercises. This approach allowed the level of load to be individually adapted in accordance with the physical capabilities of the veteran and to ensure the comprehensive development of strength and endurance.

The training program was aimed at the safe and gradual restoration of motor functions, adaptation to physical exertion and improvement of the psycho-emotional state. At the same time, the training combined efficiency, dynamism and a moderate level of physical activity for the whole body.
