For higher education students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a practical class on the academic discipline "Tactical and Special Training" on the topic "Fundamentals of Topography and Orientation in the Field" was conducted by scientific and pedagogical staff of the university's Tactical and Special Training Department together with an instructor from the 120th Territorial Defence Brigade.

Cadets mastered orientation in small tactical groups in wooded areas using compasses and topographic maps, learned how to use radio receivers, follow a specified route, and improved their practical skills in using compasses, maps, and local landmarks for orientation.
