The university continues to work on the physical recovery of veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war through adaptive sports. This time, senior lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training Ihor Ostrovskyi conducted training for war veteran Kyrylo Nedilko – a participant in hostilities, who since May 2023 has been performing combat missions in the Kharkiv direction and has the status of a person with a disability as a result of the war.2.jpg)
During the training, elements of boxing were used – work in gloves and on paws. This training format makes it possible to gradually and safely select the load in accordance with the physical capabilities of a person, contributes to the development of endurance, coordination of movements and maintenance of overall physical fitness.2.jpg)
Such classes are an important component of the physical rehabilitation of veterans, help to maintain activity, improve well-being and gradually return to the usual rhythm of life.
