Kovel city hosted the All-Ukrainian Indoor Triathlon Competition Kovel Indoor Triathlon 2026. Yevhen Koniaiev, a third-year cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the sporting event.

Indoor triathlon competitions traditionally consist of three stages: swimming, cycling (on an exercise bike), and running on a treadmill. This format requires participants to be fully focused, able to pace themselves effectively, and maintain a high speed throughout the entire distance.

Based on the results of his performance, Yevhen took first place in his age category, representing the university with dignity at the national level.
