Senior lecturer at the Department of Tactical and Special Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleh YANKOVSKYI, together with specialist Serhii HAIDUKOV from the Kamianets-Podilskyi District Administration of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi region, conducted a binary training session for cadets on the topic of “Prevention of the spread of infectious diseases in the military unit”. Serhii HAIDUKOVYI, a specialist from the Kamianets-Podilskyi District Administration of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi region, conducted a joint class with cadets on the topic of “Radiological, Chemical and Biological Protection”.

During the training class, cadets learned about the purpose, structure, and rules for using personal respiratory and skin protection equipment, and practised practical skills for using them in various situations. Particular attention was paid to the safety of personnel in conditions of radiation, chemical, and biological contamination, and during the enemy's use of hand-held gas grenades from UAVs.

Such training classes helps cadets develop the skills and abilities necessary to effectively perform their duties and protect life and health in combat and emergency situations.
