From April 24 to 27, 2025, the Ukrainian Championship in French Boxing Savat was held in Odesa, in which students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part. The university representatives showed excellent results, winning gold and silver medals in various categories:

1st place – 3rd year cadet of the ERI No. 4 Yelyzaveta ONISHCHENKO;

1st place – 3rd year cadet of the ERI No. 1 Valentyn KRAMARENKO;

1st place – 2nd year cadet of the ERI No. 4 Nikita SORONIN;

1st place – 1st year cadet of the ERI No. 2 Mykhailo SLYVA;

1st place – 3rd year cadet of the ERI No. 2 Nazar CHALYI;

2nd place – 2nd year cadet of the ERI No. 4 Oleksandr MARINKEVYCH;

2nd place – 2nd year cadet of the ERI No. 2 Maksym OBIDCHENKO;

2nd place – lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2 Maksym YAHUFAROV.

The students were prepared for the competition by kickboxing and Thai boxing trainer Maksym YAHUFAROV.
