In Larnaca (Republic of Cyprus) the stage of the World Cup in Sambo Wrestling among adults, juniors, boys, cadets and teenagers in sports and combat sections took place from February 6 to 10, 2026. These international competitions are part of the World Cup World Series and give athletes the opportunity to gain international ranking and high-level performance experience.

The tournament was attended by the second-year cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Andrii Voitishenko, who has long been noted for his high technique, endurance and perseverance in fights. Thanks to intensive training and careful preparation, Andrii won I place in the weight category up to 88 kg, demonstrating his skill and confirming his status as a promising athlete in the international arena.
