Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a workshop "Protection from Attack and Forcible Fetention of an Unarmed Offender". The event was held by Master of Sports, coach of Children and Youth Sports School No. 2 Tetiana Polinska, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training Ihor Ostrovskyi and Lecturer Andrii Ladyniak.

During the classes, the cadets practiced self-defense techniques and algorithms for safely detaining the offender without using weapons. The mentors placed special emphasis on monitoring the situation during physical contact, correctly assessing the situation and strictly observing the rules of personal safety.

The combination of practical sports experience and methodical approaches of lecturers allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of the specifics of operational actions in conflict circumstances. Such workshops strengthen physical training, form professional confidence and increase readiness to perform official tasks in real conditions.
