Daryna Omelchenko, student of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, won two victories at the Ukrainian Cup in Cossack combat. In intense battles, she took first places in the ‘Zabava’ and ‘Bornia 1’ categories. This is not Daryna's first triumph – she recently won the silver medal at Kharkiv Region Cup in the ‘Bornia 2’ category. Her successes are an example of how willpower, persistence and belief in own abilities lead to victory.

The students of university performed equally well at the All-Ukrainian Boxing Tournament, which was held in Kamianets-Podilskyi in honor of coach Mykola Solopchuk. Among 36 teams from Ukraine and Moldova, KhNUIA representatives demonstrated a high level of skill:

III place among men (elite) was taken by cadet Oleksandr Potapenko (weight category up to 60 kg);

III place among women (elite) was taken by student Oleksandra Levandovych (weight category up to 65 kg).

These achievements confirm the high sporting potential of representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, their strength of spirit and desire to represent the university with dignity in the all-Ukrainian and international arenas.
