НАВС

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the training at the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences (Villach, Austria) within the framework of the SIN-NEC International Project, which was held in a blended format. The event was dedicated to teaching in heterogeneous classrooms and virtual exchange. Participants from different countries improved their teaching methods in various international classrooms.
The main topics of the training: "Inclusive teaching strategies - curriculum development, assessment and communication methods in an inclusive environment", "Virtual exchange tools - methods of interaction in the digital space, overcoming the challenges of online learning and increasing student engagement".

The main aspects of the training:
- international audience - effective strategies for attracting students with different backgrounds;
- virtual exchange – digital tools, collaboration methods and overcoming the challenges of online learning;
- development of individual action plans – each participant prepared their own strategy for implementing new approaches in their educational institutions.
The training was conducted by leading experts Janet BROWN, Etne KNAPPITSCH and Paola PITTIIA, who provided participants with practical knowledge and individual action plans.

Participants will apply the acquired knowledge already in the spring semester of 2025, developing and implementing innovative courses that will contribute to increasing inclusivity and digitalization of higher education.
After the successful training on teaching in heterogeneous classrooms and virtual exchange, a meeting of the SIN-NEC consortium was held, at which the partners discussed the progress of the project implementation and identified further steps.
