A meeting was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with first-year cadets of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-4, who are orphans or children deprived of parental care, as well as whose parents died during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The Rector, Police General of the third rank Valerii SOKURENKO, spoke with the youth, emphasizing that the university leadership and commanders are always ready to support the cadets and help them become strong, educated and confident people.
Currently, first-year students are undergoing a training camp - an important period of their first acquaintance with training, discipline and a new team. At this time, they especially need both organizational and moral support: attention, understanding, a friendly word.
The university takes care of such students, providing social support, mentoring and an individual approach to make it easier for them to adapt and feel confident.
The event was attended by First Vice-Rector Viktor VASYLENKO, Vice-Rector Oleksandr MUZYCHUK, the management of the ERI No. 1-4, and the Head of the department of social and humanitarian work Olena SASHURINA.
