Senior lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandr SKLIAR, together with an instructor of the 120th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, conducted a binary lesson using medical equipment and evacuation means on the topic “Police Actions According to the M.A.R.C.H. Algorithm”.

During the practical training, the students mastered the sequence of actions when providing first aid in a tactical situation. Particular attention was paid to the initial examination of the victim, assessment of the nature of injuries, response to massive bleeding, and evacuation of the wounded from the zone of increased danger.

The lesson was conducted using modern medical equipment and evacuation means, which allowed the cadets to consolidate the knowledge gained in conditions as close to real ones as possible.

At the end, the participants summed up, discussed problematic and positive points, and identified tasks for further improvement of professional skills.
