It was opened by the First Vice-Rector of the university, Viktor VASYLENKO, who emphasized the great importance of developing leadership qualities among young people and the importance of active participation of cadets and students in community projects.

The initiator of the university’s involvement in the Program was the head of the cadet-student parliament of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Mykola SOROCHYSHYN.

A trainer from UNDP joined the training, who shared valuable experience and methods for developing self-government bodies with a group of 20 representatives of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5, who are members of the cadet-student self-government.

The event became an important stage in the development of leadership qualities of young people, contributing to the productive exchange of new ideas. The program also provides for the possibility of grant support for the best student projects.
