On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, which is celebrated annually on June 14, at the initiative of the cadet and student self-government of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, higher education students took part in the donation campaign and donated blood for the needs of medical institutions.

Blood donation remains an important component of the healthcare system, as it helps save the lives of people who need emergency care, are undergoing treatment or are recovering from injuries and operations every day. Such support becomes especially important in times of war, when the need for donor blood remains high.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs supports volunteer and charitable initiatives that unite young people around socially important causes and contribute to the establishment of the values of mutual assistance, mercy and responsibility.
