A tactical and special training session was organized for cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which was conducted by scientific and pedagogical workers of the specialized department together with instructors of the public organization "Artan".

Future law enforcement officers practiced actions necessary in real service conditions, in particular when detecting suspicious objects and working in unfamiliar terrain. They were demonstrated personal armor protection, familiarized with the main types of explosive objects, their characteristics and principles of using anti-personnel and anti-vehicle mines.

The cadets received knowledge about the rules for detecting and safely handling explosive objects and practiced basic algorithms of actions in case of threat. Special attention was paid to safety measures in unfamiliar areas.

The instructors shared their practical experience working with various types of explosive objects, which made it possible to combine theoretical training with real examples from professional activities.
