НАВС

An "Opportunity Fair" was held in the Kamianets-Podilskyi urban territorial community. The event was intended for veterans and their family members and addressed employment, education, professional development, starting a business, and social and rehabilitation support. The directors of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1 and No. 4 took part in the forum.

At the fair, the educational opportunities offered by Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and its professional training programmes for cadets and students were presented. In particular, participants learned about the training of pre-trial investigation specialists (investigators and inquiry officers) at Institute No. 1, as well as about degree programmes in cybersecurity. The audience was also introduced to the work of the "BRAMA" project, which aims to raise the level of digital security and counter harmful content in the information space. The Department of Tactical and Special Training showcased examples of police gear, weapons, equipment, and unmanned systems.

The opportunities offered by the Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA, which trains specialists in aviation and other professional fields, were also presented.

A separate segment of the presentation was devoted to KhNUIA's barrier-free driving school in Kamianets-Podilskyi. University representatives spoke about the specifics of driver training and the practical training opportunities available to veterans and persons with disabilities. Participants were shown an adapted vehicle equipped for driving instruction and were told how it is used during practical lessons.

KhNUIA's participation in the "Opportunity Fair" helped to promote the university's educational programmes, its professional training opportunities, and its barrier-free driver training, and also established direct communication with veterans and their family members.
