The university conducts group team-building sessions for first-year students, aimed at facilitating adaptation to the specific conditions of study and service. The leading psychologist of the psychological support department of the personnel support department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Olena Vasylieva, the psychologist of the same department Yelyzaveta Posna and the psychologist of the personnel support department Andrii Liubimenko conduct adaptation trainings, the purpose of which is to create an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect, establish effective interpersonal communication, develop teamwork skills and identify individual qualities of cadets.

During interactive sessions, psychologists create an atmosphere of relaxed communication in an equal space, which helps cadets get to know each other better and at the same time become more familiar with the activities of the psychological service. During these events, specialists carefully monitor the behavior of the participants in order to react in time and provide psychological support if necessary. Such work contributes to the formation of a positive socio-psychological climate in cadet groups.
