Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in an international seminar within the framework of the project “Ethics Education Collaboration – Norway & Ukraine”, which is implemented under the European Union’s Erasmus+ program

Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Head of the Legal Clinic of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Yulia Zahumenna and Head of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the ERI No. 4 Iryna Sievidova joined an international seminar at the Norwegian Police University College (Politihøgskolen, Oslo) within the framework of the project “Ethics Education Collaboration – Norway & Ukraine”, which is implemented under the European Union’s Erasmus+ program

The event brought together representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, the Norwegian  Police University College, and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. The participants jointly developed the architecture of a new course on ethics, integrity, and professional decision-making in policing, as well as a digital educational resource based on parallel Norwegian and Ukrainian ethical cases.

Following the seminar, the parties agreed on a plan to implement the educational resource in the fall of 2026 and to hold joint digital meetings of cadets and students from partner institutions. Participation in the project contributes to the renewal of the educational programs of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the integration of Ukrainian security experience into the international educational space.
