On the occasion of International Peace Day, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organised a meeting for students of higher education institutions Nos. 1-5, Sumy Branch, Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with retired Lieutenant Colonel Kostyantyn POTIEIEV, a participant in peacekeeping missions in Yugoslavia and Iraq.

He shared his experience of participating in international peacekeeping operations, talked about the tasks performed by Ukrainian military personnel abroad, the specifics of serving in multinational units, and the importance of such missions for maintaining peace and security in the world.

Separately, Kostyantyn POTIEIEV emphasised the importance of discipline, mutual respect and unity during peacekeeping missions, stressing that Ukrainian military personnel represent their country with dignity around the world.
