With the participation of representatives of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, an online meeting was held with the participant of hostilities, athlete, writer, showman, student of the master's degree of the ERI No. 5 Oleksandr BUDKO (call sign “Teren”).

The event was opened by the Rector of KhNUIA Valerii SOKURENKO: “Today we have a unique opportunity to talk with a person who is an example of courage, strength of spirit and indomitability. I hope that this meeting will become a source of inspiration and new views on the modern world and our responsibility to those who defend the country for each of you.”

Oleksandr BUDKO spoke about his path as a volunteer to the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine, about military service. He paid special attention to the issues of inclusiveness, ensuring the needs of veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war, their rehabilitation and integration into active civilian life.

Participants of the meeting from all locations actively communicated, asked questions to the war hero, author of the book "The Story of a Stubborn Man", winner of the Igor Neskoren-2023, Ukrainian defender Oleksandr BUDKO.
