They solved riddles, took selfies and presented the results of their journey online – the university hosted a quest “Journey through the History of the Native Land”.
10 freshmen’ teams competed for the title of “The best connoisseur of the history of the native land”. After the introductory speech and briefing, the participants received the first question from the chat groups of the teams. The boys and girls sent the answers in the form of photos and, if the moderator agreed the answer, received the next task.
They were looking for many interesting things: a guelder-rose, a willow, a church, a square, Ivan Franko monument. In particular, someone found the writer on a pedestal, and someone –on a 20-hryvnia note.
“Impressions are incredible. Ordinary quests have taken place before, but this, with elements of distance learning technology, for the first time. This is a breakthrough in the organization of events. Some answers were found at home in textbooks, and some – it was necessary to walk around the village. This added drive. Emotions run high”, – the participants of the game share their impressions.
The winners were determined by three categories: the previous presentation-business card, the speed of the quest and the presentation-result, made by the team based on the results of the game.
Places are distributed as follows:
I place – the team “Scythians”, Platoon 20-02;
II place – the team “Phoenix”, Platoon 20-02;
III place – the team “Crusaders”, Platoon 20-01.
Congratulations to the winners of the quest and we invite everyone to participate in the following events. Don’t miss your opportunity; join the team of smart, innovative and inquisitive people!
