Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs team took part in the International Cybersecurity Competition in the format Capture the Flag – picоCTF 2025 (https://play.picoctf.org/events/74). The team included cadets studying in the specialty "Cybersecurity and Information Protection": Mykyta VERZILOV, Artem SHYMKO, Vladyslav KOCHYN, Vladyslav LASKARZHEVSKYI, Ivan TSURKAN.
The participants tested their strength in solving tasks from six cybersecurity domains: general skills, cryptography, web intelligence, forensics, etc. All tasks were specially designed for legal hacking, which allowed the cadets to gain practical experience in the field of cybersecurity.
According to the results of the competition, KhNUIA team took 94th place among 10,460 participants.
