The Ukrainian championship in classic powerlifting among juniors and juniors in 2026 was held in the city of Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The university was worthily represented in the competitions by 3rd year cadet Oleksandr Mykhailenko.

The cadet demonstrated a high level of training in the weight category up to 74 kg. According to the results of the performances, he won 2nd place in the exercise "squat" with a result of 212.5 kg, and also took 3rd place in the triathlon with a total of 560 kg.
