Cadets and representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took an active part in physical culture and health events held in Vinnytsia and Kamianets-Podilskyi within the framework of the all-Ukrainian social project "Active Parks - Locations of Healthy Ukraine". The initiative is implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine through the state institution "Agency of Mass Sports of Ukraine".

In Vinnytsia, the physical culture and health event "Vinnytsia Race" became a sporting event, which united supporters of an active lifestyle of all ages. 300 cadets of educational and scientific institutes of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, as well as representatives of the permanent staff of the university, joined it.

Participants tested their strength at distances of 1, 5 and 10 kilometers, took part in Nordic walking at 5 kilometers, and the youngest athletes covered distances of 100, 300 and 500 meters.
A high result was demonstrated by the second-year cadet of the ERI No. 2 Dmytro Leus, who won third place at a distance of 1000 meters.

Another sports location of the project was Kamianets-Podilskyi, where the “Kamianets-Podilskyi Race” was held. It was attended by cadets of the ERI No. 1 and No. 4, Sumy branch of KhNUIA, members of the university’s national athletics team Angelina Diachok, Oleksii Kryvoruchko and Artem Lyman, as well as representatives of the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2.

The Active Parks project not only promotes a healthy lifestyle, but also unites people around sports, active leisure and common values. For cadets, participation in such events is a great opportunity to test their own strength, improve physical fitness and adequately represent their university.

Each start is a new experience that helps cadets develop endurance, determination and teamwork skills.
