Whoever loves books will go far in their development (Taras Shevchenko)

The state program "eBook" was launched on December 16, 2024. It allows those who turned 18 in 2024 or will turn 18 in 2025 to receive funds to purchase books in print or electronic versions. The initiative is implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ukrainian Book Institute.
More than 500 students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs actively participated in the program and took advantage of the opportunity to purchase books, because they are an indispensable means of transferring knowledge and information. It is to books that we owe our literacy and education.

Cadets and students paid special attention to publications on law, psychology, history of Ukraine, and fiction, which develops artistic taste and moral values of a person, forms character, inspires and motivates.

“The “eBook” program provided an opportunity not only to gain new knowledge, but also to support Ukrainian books. This is important for us as future police officers, because the development of intelligence and culture is the key to effective work,” shared the impressions of the 2nd year cadets of the Educational and Research Institute for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police.
The participation of university students in the state program “eBook” continues.
