The final conference of the Scientific Paper Competition for first (bachelor) level higher education students from institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was held at the National Academy of Internal Affairs. The event was attended by 58 higher education students who presented their scientific papers in 17 categories.

Director of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Oleksandr TARASENKO congratulated the contestants and presented them with diplomas. He noted that today science is the main factor in the growth of human capital, the key to the development of society and the state.

Contestants of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs presented scientific research in several categories, confirming the high level of training and improving previous results. Following the conference, seven representatives of the university won prizes:
1st place in the nomination "Military Security, National Security, State Border Security" - graduate Yaroslav SLATIN;
1st place in the nomination "Civil Security (Fire and Technogenic Safety, Labor Protection)" - cadet Kateryna BORYSOVA;
2nd place in the nomination "Theory and History of State and Law, History of Political and Legal Doctrines, Philosophy of Law" - cadet Daria HRELIA;
2nd place in the nomination "Constitutional and International Law" - graduate Yulia NESTERENKO;
2nd place in the nomination "Tactical-Special and Service-Combat Training" - cadet Miliena TSVIETKOVA;
3rd place in the nomination "Psychological Support of Professional Activity" - cadet Anna DZHUS;

3rd place in the nomination "Civil and Legal Sciences" - student of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Antonina TKACH.

Victory in the prestigious competition is a significant achievement of the students and confirmation of the effective scientific and pedagogical work of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which forms a new generation of specialists for the Ministry of Internal Affairs system.
