“Dear freshmen, I am sure that in today's excitement, despite the fact that the holiday is in masks, you still felt this celebration.  Today is a holiday for the whole country.  Our motherland is looking at you with great hope.  This summer, without exaggeration, you proved during the external evaluation, the introductory campaign, and the course of a young fighter that you are the best representatives of Ukrainian youth.  The main task before us is to restore the territorial integrity of our country.  And this requires strict observance of the law, a high level of legal knowledge, and developed legal skills.  I am sure that education at our university will be the key to successful professional realization in your future.  And on the basis of the received knowledge, you will be able to carry out those extremely difficult tasks about me which I spoke.  Have a good way, cadets of Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs named after E.O.  Didorenko”, – Mykola Karchevskyi addressed the youth.

The boys and girls took the oath of office to the Head of the Luhansk Regional Prosecutor’s Office Mykola Prybiha, Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk Oblast Andriy Grossman, and Deputy Chairman of the Luhansk Oblast Court of Appeal Andriy Belakh.

“You have chosen a difficult but honorable profession of a defender of law and order and peace in the state.  I am sure that each of you, today’s cadets, will take a worthy place in society in the future.  Be persistent on the way to the chosen goal, never stop there.  I wish you creative inspiration for learning, amazing ideas, and the implementation of ambitious plans for the future!” – greeted the freshmen Deputy Chairman of the Luhansk Oblast Court of Appeal Andriy Belakh.

During the event, the audience also honored the memory of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.
