Employees of KhNUIA took part in sports competitions "Unbreakable Vinnytsia Region"

An open regional sitting volleyball championship for athletes with musculoskeletal disorders, called "Unbreakable Vinnytsia Region", was held in Vinnytsia to mark the Day of Defenders of Ukraine.

The competition was attended by teams from Vinnytsia, Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions, which demonstrated a high level of training and true sporting skill. Among the players were war veterans – employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who showed courage, strength of spirit and resilience by their own example.

Serhii BORTNYK, Vice-Rector of KhNUIA, addressed the participants: "The development of inclusive sports opens up new opportunities for everyone, proving that physical limitations are not an obstacle to an active life and achievements in sports. We are proud of our veterans and athletes, who inspire everyone around them with their courage." He expressed his gratitude to all war veterans and athletes for their willpower, dedication to sport and desire to win.

The university's drumming group came to support the participants of the event. Their performance was a highlight of the sporting event, adding to the festive atmosphere and inspiring both athletes and spectators alike.

The director of the Department of Humanitarian Policy of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration Tetiana KAMENSHCHUK, the head of the Department of Sports and Physical Activity Nataliia TOKAR, and the head of Vinnytsia Regional Centre for Physical Culture and Sports for Persons with Disabilities "Invasport" Dmytro LUKAVYI joined in the congratulations.
