The Council develops and approves the national Concept of a unified historical and legal doctrine of Ukrainian statehood, organizes and conducts research on this issue, in particular, conducts historical, legal and theoretical analysis of the origins, nature and stages of formation and development of Ukrainian statehood. According to the Council's decision, it is planned to publish the Encyclopedia of Ukrainian Statehood, the multi-volume edition of the Treasury of Ukrainian Law Monuments, the book “Figures - Symbols of Ukrainian Statehood” with the subsequent creation of a national pantheon of figures-symbols of Ukrainian statehood and their exposition (in the form of sculptures, immersions, paintings) based on its data, etc. The Council is composed of prominent political and religious figures of Ukraine and the Ukrainian diaspora, as well as well-known scholars in the field of historical and legal science. The invitation to the Council of the Volodymyr Kulchytskyi Scientific Center for Ukrainian Statehood at the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine to Volodymyr Hrechenko, Head of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, author of 600 scientific publications on historical and historical and legal topics, is a recognition of his merits in this field of science.
