Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continues its active campaign on professional guidance. Deputy Director for Educational and Research Work of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Yurii Onyshchenko, as well as cadets Denys Kuliush and Oleksandr Lohunov visited the pupils of Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National and Patriotic Education named after Oleksandr Hostischev of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

Representatives of the university familiarized young people with the advantages of obtaining a higher education at KhNUIA, the peculiarities of working in the police and helped to understand the choice of profession. Potential entrants were presented with the specialties of the Kremenchuk Flight College – «Aviation transport», «Avionics», «Electricity, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics», as well as the specialties of the university «Cyber Security and Information Protection», «Accounting and Taxation», «Law» and «Law Enforcement». In addition, lyceum students learned about the features of the 2026 admissions campaign and the conditions and advantages of studying at KhNUIA.

An interactive quiz on cyber hygiene was held for young people, during which participants solved tasks on current issues of information security, for which they received commemorative gifts from KhNUIA.

All those present were invited to join the all-Ukrainian project of the Cyber Police Department – «BRAMA» to join the fight against disinformation and clean up the information environment. Thanks to useful recommendations from KhNUIA team, lyceum students increased the level of digital literacy and learned the basic rules of safe behavior on the network.

Lyceum students were also shown the technical means equipped by police units and introduced to the tactics of surface inspection, search operations using a metal detector, a set of inspection mirrors, a thermal imager, etc.

Such career guidance measures help future entrants to consciously choose a professional path and confidently build a career in the future.
