The Day of the National Flag and the Day of Independence of Ukraine are a memory of the generations of our ancestors who fought for the right to live in their own state - free and independent Ukraine. The raising of the National Flag accompanied by the Anthem of Ukraine traditionally opens all the celebrations held at the university. And today, like a century ago, under the Ukrainian Flag, our defenders are once again defending their native land from the Russian aggressor who is trying to destroy our nation, culture and history.

The university staff was congratulated on the national holidays by the Rector, the third-rank Police General Valerii Sokurenko. He noted that the Day of Independence of Ukraine is a holiday for each of us, a holiday of our freedom, dignity and unity: "Ukraine has come a long and difficult path, full of trials, struggles and victories. The course that the state chose in 1991 will remain unchanged. Our duty is to preserve and strengthen the independence of Ukraine. Today, together we are shaping our future – the elite of law enforcement officers, and the Security and Defense Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine need trained, dedicated and motivated people. Together we are strong and invincible. Glory to Ukraine!

The Rector wished the students and employees of the university good health, unity, indomitable spirit, new achievements in the name of building a democratic, legal state, and also presented awards.

In Khmelnytskyi region, on behalf of the Rector Valerii Sokurenko, the staff was congratulated by Vice-Rector Serhii Bortnyk. He noted that in the conditions of war, the Independence Day of Ukraine has acquired special significance, because it is a symbol of the resilience and indomitability of the Ukrainian people, faith in victory over the enemy and the further peaceful European development of our state. The Vice-Rector expressed gratitude to those present for their dedicated service, hard work, and diligent study, and presented honorary awards.

At the end of the celebrations, a performance by the drummers and saber girls unit, as well as the university's amateur art group, with the patriotic composition "We are a free nation, a people unconquered by centuries" took place.
