Olympians Share Their Experience: "Olympic Lesson" Held at KhNUIA
НАВС

How does one prepare for the Olympic Games? What helps athletes overcome challenges and put in years of hard work to achieve top results? Ukrainian athletes—including Olympic and Paralympic participants as well as World and European champions—shared these insights with cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

As part of the All-Ukrainian Olympic Lesson and Olympic Week, cadets met with pole vaulter and 2004 Olympian Ruslan Yeromenko; rower and 2004 Olympic bronze medalist Hanna Balabanova; track and field athlete Andrii Kovenko; and footballer and three-time Summer Paralympic champion Vitalii Trushev. The guests shared personal stories and discussed preparing for elite-level competitions, their sporting victories, and the obstacles they had to overcome along the way.

The meetings took place in Vinnytsia and Kamianets-Podilskyi, combining conversations with the athletes with practical physical training sessions.
