On the eve of St. Nicholas Day, the active cadet and student self-government of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continued the long-standing tradition of support and good deeds — they visited sponsored children's institutions to give their pupils warmth, attention and a real New Year's fairy tale.

As part of the action «Holiday support workshop» the little ones immersed themselves into the atmosphere of creativity, joy and expecting a miracle. Cadets and students brought sweets, gifts, materials for creativity and a sea of positive emotions to the children. Together they made New Year's decorations, made small Christmas trees, created talismans of goodness, painted winter plots and actively participated in fun games. In each group there was a special holiday magic — sincere laughter, surprise, joy and childhood enthusiasm.

Cadet Mykola Sorochyshyn, Head of the cadet-student self-government, shared his impressions:

«Communication with children inspires and reminds why it is important to do good deeds. We come to give them a holiday, but we get much more — sincere smiles and warmth that cannot be forgotten. It's always a special day for our team. A mistress of one of the institutions thanked the representatives of the university for their attention and support:

«Children were extremely waiting for guests. For them, it's not just entertainment — it's the feeling of being remembered and cared for. Such meetings leave a warm mark in the hearts of our children».

The warm atmosphere, bright emotions and sincerity of communication became the best award for the university's youth. Good done from the heart always returns a hundredfold.

This year «Holiday support workshop» covered two cities — Vinnytsia and Kamianets-Podilskyi, and in each of them the children received a piece of the holiday.

In Vinnytsia, cadets and students of KhNUIA visited PEI No.39 of the combined type of NPU, Vinnytsia educational and rehabilitation center «Hnizdechko», Development center for children with Down syndrome «Sonechko».

In Kamianets-Podilskyi, the holiday team visited Kamianets-Podilskyi Specialized School of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council. Separately, university representatives visited Preschool Institution No.

17 «Svitliachok» of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council and Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum «Slavutynka» of Khmelnytskyi Regional Council.

Action «Holiday support workshop» once again proved: everyone can become an assistant to St. Nicholas if he gives good from the bottom of his heart.
