In order to strengthen the practical training of cadets, a 5-day training course was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the assistance of the NGO "All-Ukrainian Association "Patriot"" according to the standards of the TSSS of the SLS level (fighter-rescuer).

During the training, higher education applicants practiced the M.A.R.C.H. algorithm, learned to identify shock states, stop massive bleeding, provide self- and mutual aid, evacuate the wounded, and also provide assistance with shrapnel injuries, fractures, bruises and burns.

Practical classes took place in conditions as close to real ones as possible - with the use of training weapons, mock-ups of explosive objects and M.I.L.E.S technology (laser shot and laser damage system).
Under the guidance of combat veterans – certified tactical medicine instructors – the participants received useful knowledge that will help them in their future professional activities.
