Adaptive Training Sessions for Veterans Continue at KhNUIA
НАВС

Ihor Boiko, lecturer at the Department of Special Physical Training, conducted another adaptive sports session for combat veteran Artem Hytsyn, a serviceman of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade.

This time, the session was built around a set of coordination and strength exercises. They helped prepare the body for physical activity, engage different muscle groups, and improve flexibility, agility, and coordination.

The focus during the session was not on speed or the number of repetitions, but on proper technique and movement control. The workload was selected according to the participant's individual abilities, with tasks gradually becoming more challenging.

Artem Hytsyn is a combat veteran who defended Ukraine in the Donbas, the Zaporizhzhia sector, and the Kharkiv region as part of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. Today, adaptive sports sessions help him maintain physical fitness and develop strength, coordination, and mobility.

At the university, adaptive sports is one of the areas of veteran support. Regular training sessions make it possible to gradually increase physical activity under the guidance of KhNUIA specialists and to improve skills important for everyday life.
