The event was dedicated to the scientific activity of students. It was attended by First Vice-Rector Viktor Vasylenko, Vice-Rector Oleksandr Muzychuk and Head of the School of Scientific Leadership Vitalii Naida.

Viktor Vasylenko emphasized that a modern police officer must constantly work on his physical health, intellectual development and initiative. He emphasized that the camp session contributes to the formation of stable beliefs, values and skills in future police officers, which will become a reliable guide for them in their professional lives. Among such qualities, an important place is occupied by constant scientific research, which develops critical thinking, the ability to make non-standard decisions and the desire for self-improvement.

Oleksandr Muzychuk drew attention to the importance of scientific activity during training, because it allows to fully reveal the intellectual potential of students. The Vice-Rector introduced the first-year students to the organization of scientific work at the university, the activities of the School of Scientific Leadership, within the framework of which cadets participate in meetings with outstanding scientists and employees of KhNUIA, master the secrets of the academic style for writing theses, join conferences, competitions and grant programs, etc. Sharing his own experience, Oleksandr Mykolaiovych gave advice on the first steps in scientific activity and emphasized the practical significance of scientific achievements in the future profession.

Vitalii Naida presented the first-year students with the priority areas of the School of Scientific Leadership, spoke about current competitions, scholarship programs and opportunities for development. He emphasized the importance of combining scientific work and leadership in the learning process.
