Оn the Day of the National Police of Ukraine, the celebrations on the occasion of the graduation of cadets and students took place at the Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs named after E.O. on Didorenko. Parents, friends and relatives came to greet the young specialists.
Traditionally, the event began with the introduction of the University Standart.
Rector of the Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs named after E.O. Didorenko Vitaliy Komarnytskyi addressed the graduates with a welcoming speech:
"The diplomas of higher education awarded to you today are not only a recognition of your professional and human maturity, but also a symbol of high responsibility to society, the state, who entrusted you with such a responsible and honorable mission - to serve the rule of law, to protect law and order. I'm sure more than one radiant star will appear on your shoulder straps, and who knows, maybe future generals, ministers, heads of departments will be in this line."
The participants of the solemn ceremony then observed a minute of silence for the victims of the service of law enforcement officers and laid flowers at the monument to Major General Oleksandr Radievskyi.
Honorary guests came to congratulate the graduates on their higher education diplomas: Head of the Drug Crime Department of the National Police of Ukraine Lt. Col. Serhiy Fedchenko and Heads of law enforcement agencies and security forces:
"I sincerely congratulate you, dear graduates! You have chosen a very difficult but necessary task for our state - to uphold the law and order. From today you start your professional path, let it be successful and promising, and future work - interesting ", - said with a congratulatory speech to the graduates Mykola Prybiha the Head of the Luhansk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
And here is the long-awaited and exciting moment: the awarding of diplomas. 144 young specialists received diplomas of higher education, 16 of them were awarded diplomas with honors and awarded the special rank of senior police lieutenant.
According to the good university tradition, the graduates were awarded gifts - engraved watches.
The celebration ended with a farewell to the University Standart and a solemn march. Ahead is a difficult and responsible service in the ranks of the National Police of Ukraine.
