Within the framework of cooperation of LDUVS named after E.O.  Didorenko with the Main Department of National Police in Luhansk region organized and conducted a workshop "Psychological aspects of career design.  The first steps of professional development of young police officers ".  Formation of the need for an active life position and the desire for self-development, self-improvement and increased responsibility for the life;  development of the ability to reflect, the disclosure of the inner potential of the individual, the actualization of resources for professional growth - such tasks were set by the organizers of the event.

"The urgency of the problem of career growth in the professional activities of young police officers is always in the attention of both psychologists, researchers and practitioners of the psychological support service.  After all, professional activity is one of the most important areas of personal self-realization and at the same time one of the key factors of personal development," said Oleksandra Burlachenko, Head of the Department of Psychological Support at the University.

During the workshop, the cadets discussed what they think directly affects the process of professional growth, what reasons for the wrong career strategy.  Performed exercises to identify personal resources on which they can rely building a strategy for their own career growth.

The young police officers found the recommendations of the Head of the Department of Psychological Support of the Main Department of National Police in Luhansk region Olena Kovaleva on the prevention of maladaptation in the new workplace very useful.

 "Let's be equal to the best!" at each stage of professional growth according to the organizers of the event, so we prepared several mini-interviews with representatives of the teaching staff and administration of the university on the topic "What are my life and professional success."
