The XXVII scientific and practical conference “Problems of civil law and process” was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, dedicated to the anniversary of the outstanding scientist in the field of civil law – Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Anatoliiovych Pushkin.
The scientific forum was opened by the Rector of the university, corresponding member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Valerii SOKURENKO. In his speech, he emphasized that in the conditions of full-scale aggression against Ukraine, which has been going on for the fourth year, it is especially important to preserve the scientific heritage and honor the memory of our mentors and founders of law schools. “For the university, such a significant figure is Oleksander Anatoliivych Pushkin – an outstanding personality who was distinguished by high moral qualities and extraordinary talent, whose contribution to science and education remains invaluable. The conference is intended to be another significant step for our higher education institution in the development of civil law and procedural science, which will be enriched through the lively polemics of today's reports,” the rector noted.
The scientific discussions were attended by: First Vice-President of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr BANDURKA, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Oleh SYNIEHUBOV, Director of the Institute of Law-Making and Scientific-Legal Expertise of the NAS of Ukraine Oleksii KOT, his deputy for scientific work Andrii HRYNIAK, Head of the Department of Civil Legal Policy, Intellectual Property Law and Innovations of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University Vitalii YAROTSKYI, Head of the Department of Civil Law of the Institute of Law of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Vadym TSIURA.
The conference brought together representatives of leading scientific institutions and higher education institutions. The following took part in its work: First Vice-Rector of KhNUIA, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Viktor VASYLENKO, scientists of the Departments of Civil, Labor and Economic Law of the ERI No. 1 and Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5 of the University. Members of Kharkiv Regional Branch of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization "Association of Civilians of Ukraine" also took an active part.
