Thanks to the eBook program, students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs have purchased modern literature, textbooks and professional publications. The cadets paid special attention to books on law, psychology, history of Ukraine and fiction that develops human consciousness, shapes character, inspires and motivates.

“The eBooks program gave us the opportunity not only to gain new knowledge but also to support Ukrainian books. This is important for us as future police officers, because the development of intelligence and culture is the key to effective work,” shared their impressions the 2nd year cadets of the Educational and Research Institute for Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation.

The project involves Ukrainians who turned 18 in 2024 or will turn 18 in 2025. They have the opportunity to purchase books in Ukrainian for the money allocated. The program is implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ukrainian Book Institute with the support of the “Action Support Project” implemented by UNDP in Ukraine with funding from the Government of Sweden.
