The “Hello, 102?” team of KhNUIA, which included future investigators Danylo Teslia, Roman Makiievskyi, Maksym Maksymchuk and Timur Kyryia, won first place, having passed the selection among 29 teams from different universities of Ukraine in the III All-Ukrainian Hans Gross All-Ukrainian Competition of Investigative Actions.

The competition was organized by the Department of Criminal Law of Yurii Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University in partnership with Chernivtsi SSREC of the MIA of Ukraine. Only the six best teams, including higher education seekers from KhNUIA, who demonstrated a high level of professional knowledge and analytical skills during the written selection, were allowed to advance to the second stage.

During the practical part of the competition, the participants simulated the conduct of individual investigative (detective) actions, and in the final, they performed a complex task - an inspection of the scene of the incident, associated with the examination of a corpse. It was the ability to act in a coordinated manner in conditions close to real investigative practice that allowed KhNUIA team to win a convincing victory.
The estimation was carried out by a qualified jury consisting of representatives of the MDNP in Chernivtsi region, the territorial department of the ESB, Chernivtsi SSRFC and the district prosecutor's office. The team was trained by the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation together with the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science, which strengthened the practical training of the cadets and became a significant pre-condition for their success.
The first place achieved is a recognition of the high quality of professional training of the cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 and the result of the university systematic work on the formation of competent specialists for the agencies of pre-trial investigation.
