The European Championship in MMA (mixed martial arts) was held in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade, from February 17 to 24. 800 participants from 35 European countries took part in the competitions. The first-year cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Yana SHELEMBA, performed in the youth championship. The girl won the gold medal in the weight category up to 56.7 kg and became a two-time European champion.

In the team competition, the Ukrainian national team won in all age groups.
